This is actually the story of my family and  how we survived our home floded to the roof and being trapped in our own home during the passing of Hurricane Maria in 2017. After this incredible ordeal our home was uninhabitable and we moved Barbados, and although we were more lucky than most, we truly didn't know if our business would recover, if the insurance would pay what we were asking... There was a lot of uncertainty about everything financially and in the meantime I started to use the cheapest means I had \ to process what had happened... Eventually I started animating my drawings, using charcoal and paper, watercolors, paper cuts  and my phone to record it... Through this process I fell in love with animation and realised I needed to tell my story
